The maker
A painter's eye, a luthier's hands
Trained as a fine artist in Europe and at New York's National Academy of Fine Arts, Dimo found his calling in guitar making in the 1990s.
For three decades he has refined his craft in his New York workshop, designing his own jigs and templates, and building every instrument himself, by hand.
He winds his own Dimo pickups in-house, voiced to bring out the tone and range of each instrument.
